Internet exchange is a physical location where multiple AS directly connect their network to exchange Internet traffic.
ASN (Autonomous System Number) is a unique identifier for each network. ASN is necessary to connect your AS with other AS.
Peering is the direct connection between two AS that allows traffic exchange. This is an alternative connectivity method to transit or IP Transit. Peering is done between networks such as content providers, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and other networks. Peering makes the Internet more affordable and faster for the end user.
PoP (Point of Presence) is the site where you can connect to BBIX Vietnam
Peering is done with the use of BGP (Border Gateway Protocol). When you have a network router that connects to other networks, it does not know which network is the best one to send its data to. With the BGP protocol, it will determine the best network routes for data trasnmission on the Internet.
